It's Time for a Change ...
Sustainable Contra Costa is a 501c3 nonprofit organization providing programs and services that educate residents, students, businesses, and community leaders about how to implement sustainable practices. We believe that every choice matters in making sure our children are healthy, our economy strong, and our environment remains beautiful for many decades. Since its inception in 2007, SCOCO has grown into one of the broadest reaching nonprofits in Contra Costa providing tools and resources that help people take action.
Contra Costa's First 350 Home & Garden Challenge - 997 actions!
Together, we did it...997 actions to grow food, save water, conserve energy, and build our communities stronger, healthier, and more resilient were registered in Contra Costa's first 350 Home & Garden Challenge! Our goal was 350 collective actions throughout Contra Costa so thanks to all who participated - nearly tripling the goal!
