DAC Internship Information DAC internships can be either of two types, traditional or project based. Time-based Internships These internships typically follow a traditional format where the intern works a specified amount of weeks or months for an employer or organization.  The work performed may involve specific tasks or be more general in scope depending on the needs of the organization and the agreement made with the intern.  These internships are usually completed by the end of a semester. Project-based Internships These internships are based on specific projects an organization or employer needs help with.  The term of the internship would be based on the amount of time it takes to complete the project and not on a pre-arranged time period.  These internships might be small (eg: one logo design), or large (eg: a new website design project).
