FAQs for Employers Q. How do I find a young adult for my position(s)? A. CCYouth@Work Staff screen every applicant for interests and abilities and only refer those youth who best qualify for you jobs. Q. Do I have to pay their wages? A.  No. The Workforce Development Board, through the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act pays the wages for the youth. Q. What about Worker's Compensation? A. The job site is not the "employer of record" so does not indemnify the youth. Youth are covered through our program for Worker's Compensation. Q. How will I know what to do and expect from my youth? A. Every job site supervisor (you!) must go through an orientation that will explain the procedures and process for working with your youth. You will not be alone, and CCYouth@Work Staff will be there to support you every step of the way.
