About Mt. Diablo High School

Mt. Diablo High School is a public high school located in Concord, California. It is the oldest school in the Mount Diablo Unified School District. The school features a number of specialized programs. It is the home of Digital Safari Multimedia Academy , a program started in 1996 to teach and integrate digital media into a high school core curriculum using project-based learning. The International Hospitality and Tourism Academy is a campus program which teaches cooking and hospitality. The program includes the student-run restaurant Serendipity, which operates three days a week and is supported by the students' mentors as well as professional chefs and bakers. The Academy of Construction, Manufacturing and Engineering (ACME) focuses on construction and other industrial trades. The Health and Medical Sciences Academy offers instruction to students interested in healthcare. Mount Diablo is also home to FAME, for students who are interested in the performing arts.

Students at Mt. Diablo High School come from two distinct geographical areas: the central and eastern neighborhoods Concord and the community of Bay Point over the ridge in East Contra Costa County. Location
